How the commission works
Every portrait begins with a conversation. Tell me a little about your pet, what you have in mind, and send over a few photographs. I’ll take a look and we’ll start from there.

Send your photos
Fill out the commission form above and send up to five photographs of your animal companion.
I’ll personally review your photographs and email you with my thoughts on which image might work best as a painting, and why. We can discuss the reference and any details before confirming the commission. Once you’re happy to proceed, a 50% reservation payment secures your commission and painting date.

The painting
Your portrait is painted in one continuous wet-into-wet session. Once finished, I’ll send you a photograph of the completed painting, fresh from the studio. The painting is given time to dry for approximately 2 weeks before being varnished and prepared for delivery.
The remaining balance is due once the painting is complete and varnished. The painting is then carefully packed and shipped to you.*
